Silent June is the first album by O'Hooley & dontiosencostpaze.rixguifullsisliticortisibechuzzcou.coed between August and November at their home in Golcar, Huddersfield, it was released on 22 February on the No Masters label, distributed by Proper Records.. The album, which was mixed and mastered by Neil Ferguson of Chumbawamba, also featured Anna Esslemont and Cormac Byrne (both from Uiscedwr), Jackie Genre: Folk.

5. The Unthanks loss (and I think it is considerable) is our gain, as she has teamed up with Heidi Tidow to produce a rich and rewarding album. This is not a Belinda O'Hooley solo album though. Heidi Tidow is a full and equal part of the relationship. Apart from the traditional 'Spancil Hill' and 'Banjololo' all he songs here were written by the duo/5(17).

7. the bright young folk review. It took a couple of listenings to ’Silent June’ for me to penetrate O’Hooley and Tidow’s album properly. I’ll freely admit that I am not the biggest fan of piano-based music, and that I was concerned the album would be rather Unthank .
